Alex Marvez suggesting Christmas gifts for NFC teams:
"Philadelphia: An electric shock collar for Michael Vick that goes off any time the quarterback speaks about wanting to own another dog in the future. This would serve as a painful reminder of how Vick should have felt when torturing animals for his own sadistic pleasure. I hope he has learned his lesson, but it’s much too soon for Vick to publicly talk about the desire for pet ownership again."

Man puts up sign in yard warning others of pit bulls....
Great Job Mr. Ward!! We salute you! You are doing what everyone in your situation should do - put it out there for everyone to see.
I was sickened to see some bloggers on this article, such as "The things That Make you Hmmmmm..." seemed to be more worried about aesthetics than the very important message on the sign. It is disheartening to know that we live among people like "The things That Make you Hmmmmmm....", as they care more about what something looks like than someone's actual LIFE. Pretty scary.

Philadelphia Eagles
Michael Vick brought the Eagles back in the final minutes and the Eagles won the game on a last-second punt return. That doesn't, of course, change anything about this remarkable athlete's suitability as a pet owner.
The Eagles wrote the Humane Society of the US a nice fat check. And now the Humane Society of the US says it's okay for Michael Vick to own a dog.
"He would do a good job as a pet owner" - Wayne Pacelle, President and CEO of the Humane Society of the US.
Both Vick and the HSUS have lost all credibility.
STOP donating to the HSUS because THIS is how your money is being spent!!

911 Dispatcher - FAIL
Here are some real 911 dispatcher's job descriptions:
A 911 Dispatcher works in a very stressful environment. The work is stressful because an improper response or delay further increases the risk and health of the caller........requires a considerable degree of initiative and independent judgment within procedural boundaries in responding..........
Really want to know who this guy is....

FAIL - Only 3 Vick Dogs from Best Friends Adopted in THREE YEARS!
"DISMAL RESULTS" as reported by Dogsbite.org How many millions of dollars did they get to rehab these dogs? When do these shelters say "enough is enough" and end this? Oh that's right.... all those millions coming in... can't do anything rash to make THAT go away. What a way to run an organization - must be ex-bankers.....
"All of the fanfare by Best Friends and VanKavage that the Vicktory dogs are a huge success and ought to serve as a model for the rehabilitation of all seized fighting pit bulls reminds us of the Balloon boy hoax. Furthermore, it is "fantasy thinking" to presume that open admission shelters have the budget for such substantial, "breed-specific" pit bull projects. Pit bulls already overwhelm occupancy rates in U.S. shelters, demanding the lion share of resources." as quoted by Dogsbite.org
