Kansas City, MO - 5 year old mauled by rottweilers

A 5 year old boy was mauled by three rottweilers on Sunday. Josh Stockdale's mother was staying over at a friend's house when she heard her son screaming in the middle of the night. Josh was brutally attacked by the dogs. Josh's mom fought off the dogs and ran to a neighbor's house (David Haggard) across the street and banged on his door for help. Mr. Haggard took them in and tried to help control the bleeding until paramedics arrived. Both of Josh's ears were ripped off, and he had multiple gashes and puncture wounds on his neck and groin area. Josh has had 8 surgeries so far.

Not surprising AT ALL - there have been multiple complaints against the owner about his mutts:

2001 - police shoot and kill a dog at the same address during a raid
2003 - Police had to call AC to remove the dogs because the dogs were interfering with an investigation.
2007 - One of the dogs involved in this mauling attacked a woman and bit her
2008 - Complaint on file from neighbors regarding the dogs

In addition, the dog owner had the nerve to come outside and tell the Mr. Haggard (the neighbor who helped the boy and his mother) to "go back in his house because it was none of his business."

No info at this time on who the dog owner is, or what his story is.
